Susie’s Kitchen Suppers - Eat
Eat is a gentle mid-week get together offering two courses of delicious home-cooked food. When I started doing a supper club I was really drawn to the idea of a mid-week, simple, reasonably priced affair offering a little boost of joy and comfort on hump day. It quickly became apparent though that I wanted to be a bit more tra la la with my menus and so the supper club moved to a Saturday with three courses plus welcome drinks and nibbles and sometimes a fifth course and sometimes a little going home treat. With Eat I’m going back to my original idea - you’ll be joining me at my supper table where we’ll be having a couple of courses, sometimes a starter and a main and sometimes a main and a pud but always ALWAYS delicious.
Eat will run on dates advertised regardless of numbers, this means…sometimes there’ll be a full house (eight people) and sometimes there won’t. Guests are welcome to bring something to drink, that half bottle of wine they have left from yesterday or a bottle or two of beer, it’s very informal.
